First Nascar

OMG! That describes my overall experience at my first Nascar race! I admit watching on TV cars turning left just doesn’t seem all that exciting. The commentators are telling you that the cars are going fast, but all you really can do is intellectualize the information. You see on the TV a rather smooth ordeal, and it really just seems boring! But when you actually sit at a live race, the experience is completely different. You truly understand the speed they are moving at. Looking directly in front of you all you see is a fast blur. And withing seconds they are back in front of you again. And the sound; TV just cannot do justice to the awesome sound of a car going 200 miles an hour. You can actually see first hand how they must truly have skills to be able to control those powerful machines. Nascar has gained a fan in me. When the engines start up for the first time, it really is like the sound of Thunder! And yes even though I am an semi-effeminate gay male, I fell in love with Nascar! Go see it!
